We provide funding to individual scholars and to university departments to undertake innovative Jewish Studies research and to train the next generation of scholars. We also prioritise the teaching and learning of Jewish languages.

Several major university departments across Europe currently have a multi-year grant from the Foundation to ensure the sustainability of their Jewish studies research and teaching. These grants are currently under review and may be offered again in autumn 2025.
